RE: What else is your motorhome good for?

good topic. we spent 9 months in our rv after hurricane katrina. it was a lifesaver. the only clothes we had were the ones we had in the mh and we got along fine. it was a whole lot better than a fema trailer. enjoy.............

fuel/water seperator

i am a new dp owner. i have a stupid question, but i cant seem to find a clear instruction on fuel/water seperator service. it sez to drain after each fill up. ok, if i turn the plastic valve on the bottom of the seperator, do i empty the container ? will it refill its self without priming? dont want to make a serious mistake.
i have a 2001 tradewinds ltc 39' with a cat 330 3126 truck engine.
have been reading your posts and have come to the conclusion that i have a lot to learn. thank you guys, for all your help. keep up the good work......

alternative diesel fuel

anyone had any experience with a company on the internet named "www.dieselsecret.com", which claims to have a system to use vegetable cooking oil as alternative diesel fuel source. the claim is that the cost of their product, system and additives amount to about 45 cents a gallon. are there any other "tried and tested" sources for alternative cheap diesel fuel.
would appreciate any input..... john wells

RE: national rv parts

i understand that most accessory and equip parts are from other folks. i'm concerned about body and interior parts manufactured or supplied by national, if i should ever have a need. i thought maybe one company purchased the inventory, and maybe where i could find a list of suppliers. maybe i'm being too cautious, but one never knows when there may be a need and no manufacturer to turn to. thanks for you input....... john
